i enjoy the use of text in the photos. It does not look like a Snapchat post like photos can when you add text.
I like the background of these images and I can feel the emotion of the party.
I really liked the story/message behind these pictures. I think everyone has definitely found themselves in this situation, so I love how you acknowledged the feeling and ran with it! I also love how each picture shows so emotion and isn't all smiles. In addition, I love the pink lighting, they make the photos very unique!
I really like the concept here of capturing the emotions of being at a party. While it is typically seen as a fun time for socializing, that is not the reality for many. The contrast between the smiles and frowns symbolize different people's experiences at the part. I think that the color choice, purple, also reflects this contrast since blue and red create purple (blue symbolizing sadness and red symbolizing strong feelings).
The series of these photos are incredible. I think the color casting of a magenta pink/purple is very fun and gives off this rave/party vibe. I also really love how you have layered your photo asking "did you have fun?" Looking back you can always see these smiling faces from the night but sometimes you just feel that empty and unsatisfied feeling on the inside. Overall, great job!
