I've been eyeing projector photography for a while and I finally done it this time. It actually doesn't quite like the vibe I was going for. I was hoping it to be more of a backdrop with soft lighting to give it a painting type of look. However, I figured I'd probably need an actual backdrop paper with desert on it... I do like the blue color in contrast with the warm yellow. I tried with another background picture but it just wasn't as dramatic as the one I submitted.
Oh my gosh Birdy, I think is the best work you have ever done, not that your other work is anything to scoff at. This feels like something out of an old black and white movie, where the protagonist is giving his big speech before the third act. I love that you can see every detail in the projection and in his face. He looks so into it and that is always a good advantage in photography. The colors are so warm in inviting, which makes him look even better. I love all of them, except the up-angle shot one, the first photo in the second row, not because of anything you did but because I don't think it is…
First of all, THESE ARE SO COOL! I have always wanted to try using a projector in a photoshoot and now I'm definitely going to need to try it out! I love how you turned your room into a western movie. I also love how each photo is a new and interesting composition. Your using of cool and warm tones makes these extra eye-catching.
This is honestly one of the most innovative and creative projects I have seen! This is awesome. Your ability to think outside the box is amazing . The projection made for an amazing light source and added such a beautiful scenery!
I really like everything about these pictures, from the outfit to the colors. I like how you transported yourself to the west while staying in your apartment. This is a really unique project and I can tell you had a lot of fun with it.
