I think these photos are quite unique from all the finals. I noticed that you shot many doors in your series, I wonder if it would be even more successful if you focus on exploring different door designed in Cincinnati.
These photos are simple and chic, something out of a realtor magazine. I love the worm's eye view of the buildings, it makes it look like I am standing under them and seeing them for myself. You used your zoom and depth of field very well. I love how each photo seems like they were taken on a nice cool summer day. Personally, this isn't my type of photo to look at and take but you did an amazing job.
You did a great job finding pops of color in these different pieces of architecture. I particularly like the photo with the marbles in the wall. I also like from a technical standpoint the photo with the small section of bricks on the wall. It shows such a random artistic choice by the architect that you were able to find.
These shots are amazing! I think you're right in that sometimes our lives our so fast pace that we tend to stop and look around and enjoy all the beauty around us. I think your ability to show people what they are missing is really good here. It almost reminds me of a little it of typology with the different shots of the buildings and building doors.
I like the idea of taking pictures of buildings. It is easy to walk past a building and think nothing of it, but your pictures really bring out the beauty in the finer details. The colors pop out in each picture.
