You chose an interesting location, very pretty waterfall! I like that you took pictures from varies angles. My only suggestion is to play with the color situation, the water looked a bit muddy so maybe try to bring out the green. Some slow shutter speed might make the waterfall look silky too!
These waterfalls are incredible, and you captured them with such grace. You were able to pull the viewer towards the waterfall, but also kept our attention to the entire photo. I love the use of unusual angels that made the waterful look even bigger than it actually was. My only critique would be to make the photos more saturated to bring out some beautiful colors.
First off your artist statement is super interesting and definitely not what I was expecting after glancing through your photos! Looking at them brought about feelings of nostalgia for me. As a kid, I remember going down to the creek with my friends sun up til sun down. I love how all of your photos are connected but not the exact same. You had a good variety.
I've been to Hocking Hills and I think you did a great job capturing all it has to offer. There are shadows in a lot of your pictures and I think this really helps the texture of the racks pop out. I also really love the action shots of the water I feel like I can hear it rushing down the rocks.
I love the way that you captured nature and the waterfall scenery, I tend to find these to be my happy place and you photos acted as a small escape. I also enjoyed your artist statement, allowing the photos to resonate even deeper. I enjoy how some of the photos are off centered and how others are symmetrical. It adds more to them. Well done!
